"Let's Learn Estonian Episode 4 "Numbers in Estonian"" by Little Miss Squirrel

Let's begin with looking at numbers 1 -10 before we learn how to form anything above that. Follow along with the video provided that was made by Little Miss Squirrel. For ease, I have broken up the text for one to follow along with the video.

 

0 - 10 are pretty straight forward as far as being the basic numbers. Click the video above to hear them, and then follow along with this page for the rest of the numbers.

 

11 - 19 are formed by using numbers 1-10 + "teist" which is highlighted in pink for convienence. When looking at the English numbers 13-19 (thirteen - nineteen) they all have the suffix "teen". "Teist" is the equvialent of that but for numbers 11-19.
